A Fractal is a curve or geometrical figure, each part of which has the same statistical character as the whole, in which similar patterns recur at progressively smaller scales, and in describing partly random or chaotic phenomena. Our images help the viewer experience the space as they would physically and spatially. We’re always aiming to expand our architectural vocabulary.
We specialise in Hospitality photography, and believe in clean and simple compositions, using natural light to highlight interior and exterior spaces. At Fractal Images, we use photographic techniques that bring out and celebrate pure geometric forms.
Vinay kumar
I am a Mumbai based photographer specialising in Hospitality Photography.
From my school days I have known that I wanted to be a photographer. I guess I was lucky enough to find my passion at a young age. I made my way from my 1st point and shoot camera to my first SLR before the age of 14. I would spend hours developing my own Black and White prints until I got the desired result. I would like to think that I carry the same enthusiasm on every assignment till date.
I believe in clean and simple composition, and use natural light to highlight interior and exterior spaces. I am fascinated by colour theory and golden ratios and I play around with these in my images.
Apart from my photography assignments, I also teach Interior and Architecture Photography at Bharti Vidyapeeth School of Photography (BVSP), Pune.
I have also co-founded Shutterflies, a not for profit that teaches photography to underprivileged children in Mumbai. We at Shutterflies believe that children capture the innocence of life better that adults, and through photography, We would like to encourage them to tell their stories.
